E+Co Asia
Jeffery Dickinson, Regional Manager for Asia, has a background in applied sciences, renewable energy and technology management. Mr. Dickinson has worked for a number of years in the appropriate technology field, including an extended period in the Himalayas with EnterpriseWorks Worldwide, a company involved with the commercialization of non-timber forest products, medicinal and aromatic plants and refined products. He is now responsible for expanding E+Co's Asian operations with an office in Bangkok, Thailand for South and South East Asia and a UNEP supported program in Western China. He holds a degree in Applied Science from the University of New Hampshire.
Joost Siteur, Investment Officer, is working on asset management and pipeline development activities for the Asian region. Previously, he worked for a variety of UN renewable energy projects, both in Asia and Central America, working on project coordination, business development services, capacity building and bioenergy data analysis. He holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Twente, the Netherlands.
Anubut Sangarasri,Investment Officer, joined the E+Co Bangkok Office in December 2006. Previously he has experience working with Thailand Government’s Ministry of Energy and a private sector renewable energy consulting and development business. Anubut also has considerable experience working with NGOs on renewable energy development in Thailand. With E+Co Asia he is responsible for identifying new opportunities in South East Asia, along with investment due diligence and deal packaging. Anubut holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering and a M.E. in Power Engineering both from Chulalongkorn University.
Sweta Pokharel, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, joined E+Co in September 2007, strengthening the monitoring and evaluation capacity of the regional team. She also helps support E+Co's processes and procedures with identifying, documenting and completing various investment projects. In addition to providing focus on the monitoring of existing investments, she also works closely with the E+Co's Asia team to provide professional support to Investment Officers across the region. Sweta graduated with a Master's Degree in Business Administration, with a major in International Business, from the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok, Thailand. She also holds an M.Sc in International Management from the Institut National Des Telecommuncations in Evry, France. Before joining E+Co Asia, she worked with the Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank, Kathmandu.
Jaruwan Janphen, Office Manager - Thailand, started work with E+Co in February, 2006. Her responsibilities include maintaining and improving business filing and documentation systems, as well as supporting Investment Officers and processing of documentation on investment and service provision for the Bangkok office. Ms. Janphen holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the Payap University in Chiangmai, Thailand.
Chanittha Cherdmanusathine, Administrative Assistant, joined E+Co in September 2007. She is in charge of the overall secretarial and administration work for E+Co Asia office in Bangkok. In addition, she is also responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of office equipments and supplies, and provides overall support to the Bangkok team with document collection and basic research activities. Ms. Chanittha holds a Bachelor degree in Communication Arts from Bangkok University, Thailand.
E+Co China
Wu Jing, Investment Officer, has 10 years working experiences in participatory community development and consultation projects as a trainer, consultant and manager and has taken part in the design and preparation of small watershed management project and sustainable development of Yunnan upland projects. Since then, she has been involved in different kinds of sustainable development, community consultation, recognition of community for the natural resources use, environment, forestry and policy management. Ms. Wu has a B.A. in Economics from Yunnan University and a Master in Development Management from the Asian Institute of Management.
Laura Colbert, Information and Communication Officer, is working with the China office to increase dissemination of E+Co's enterprise development materials and raise awareness among partners and clients of the activities being undertaken as part of the China Rural Energy Enterprise Development (CREED) program. Ms. Colbert also works with the Bangkok-based team to develop appropriate communications materials for the markets across the region. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Ms. Colbert has been teaching at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics for the past two years. Prior to this, she was an executive producer for the USA National Public Radio affiliate in the state of New Hampshire, USA.
Zhu Xiaonan, Office Manager - China, with responsibility for the setting up and management of the Kunming Office; including maintaining information management systems, supporting Investment Officers and processing of documentation on investment and service provision. Ms. Zhu has a BA in Economics from the Economic Department in Yunnan University.
