Nicholas Parker, Chair, Canada
Mr. Parker is Co-founder and Chairman of the Cleantech Group™, LLC. He previously accumulated over 15 years experience starting and investing venture funds worldwide through limited partnerships, family offices, corporate funds and endowments. In the 1990s, he also founded, built and sold a leading transatlantic environmental finance advisory and strategy firm. He has served as an advisor to multilateral agencies such as the World Business Council on Sustainable Development and the International Finance Corporation (World Bank). Mr. Parker earned a BA Hons. in Technology Studies (Carleton University, Ottawa) and an MBA (City University, London), and has authored or edited ten publications related to technology, finance and international business., a public purpose investment company for clean energy enterprises in developing countries. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).

Jacqueline Aloisi de Larderel, France
Mrs. Aloisi de Larderel joined the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in March 1987 as the Director of the Industry and Environment Centre. In 1998, she assumed her position as Director of the Division of Technology, Industry and Economics. In 2001, she was appointed Assistant Executive Director of UNEP. She holds a Diploma from the "Institut d'Administration des Entreprises" and a MBA from INSEAD. She was on the Faculty of the Pharmacy Department at the University of Paris, and studied as a Fullbright Scholar at the University of Yale in the U.S. Mrs. Aloisi de Larderel is the author of numerous articles on renewable energy, technology transfer, environmental management tools, corporate responsibility, environmentally responsible investing and other sustainable development themes. She presently serves as environmental advisor on various Boards including the Global Reporting Initiative (Amsterdam). In April, 2003, she was officially nominated for the prestigious decoration "chevalier de l'ordre national de la legion d'honneur", awarded by the French Government in honor of her lifetime achievement in the field of sustainable development.

John Gilliland, USA
Mr. Gilliland is a Managing Director at Citigroup and has been with firm for twenty three years in a variety of positions in North America, South America and Australia. Since October 2006, he is a Senior Risk and Portfolio Manager in the Commercial Business Group where he focuses on portfolio hedging, capital markets projects and syndications and assists in the development of new lending programs. Mr. Gilliland is also a member of Citigroup’s Environmental and Social Policy Review Committee. Prior to his current position, Mr. Gilliland was Global Head for Structured Portfolio Management with regional teams in London, New York and Hong Kong, responsible for risk and portfolio management of many of the firm’s most complex credit and structure intensive products. Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr. Gilliland was Vice President of Finance at a privately held oil and gas exploration and production company. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance with High Honors from the University of Texas at Austin.

Guy Kern-Martin, South Africa
Mr. Kern-Martin is currently a Director of Barclays Capital, the investment banking arm of Barclays Bank PLC. His responsibilities relate to structuring and documentation of commodity derivatives and commodity structured products, including base metals, oil, gas and power; acquisition of trading portfolios; securitizations of commodity revenue streams; and in developed and emerging markets. Through his previous experience working with Clifford Chance and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Mr. Kern-Martin has extensive experience in the assessment of legal, operational and reputational risk in emerging market trading and investment. Mr. Kern-Martin brings over 15 years of legal and finance experience to E+Co’s Board. He holds the following degrees: Bachelor of Arts, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, Bachelor of Laws, University of Bristol, Bristol, England and a Master of Business Administration, INSEAD, France.

Pieter van Tuyll, The Netherlands
Pieter van Tuyll van Serooskerkenis, a Dutch entrepreneur, who since 1982 has worked in the field of identifying and supporting entrepreneurs and business opportunities in Europe, the USA and developing countries. Until 2002, he was co-owner and managing partner of Business Creation, a company designing and managing programs for the redevelopment of redundant factories. Key objectives in Business Creation's projects are to limit the financial and employment effects of factory closures. Today, Mr. van Tuyll operates as an independent investor in and consultant to new ventures, mostly in Western Europe. Mr. van Tuyll has a law degree from Leiden University and an MBA from Insead in Fontainebleau.

Philip LaRocco, Executive Director, USA
Mr. LaRocco, E+Co's founder and Executive Director, brings over 25 years experience in international business and project development. Since 1990, he has focused solely on creating energy enterprises in developing countries and the refinement of the “enterprise centered model” of development. Mr. LaRocco was formerly Director of World Trade and Economic Development for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, where he oversaw the NY World Trade Center, a network of international offices and a portfolio of local economic development projects. In addition to his duties as E+Co's CEO, Mr. LaRocco concentrates on innovative financing mechanisms. In August 2006, Mr. LaRocco received an Honorary Award for his contribution to the sector from the World Renewable Energy Congress (WREC) during the WREC IX Congress in Florence, Italy.
